Cyprus safe pass

Anyone know anything about these ? Found out today that the Cyprus flight pass is only valid for 7 days of stay and after that we have to apply for a safe pass. Your eligible for one as a vaccinated adult or child or if you have a Covid recovery certificate, but as it stands unvaxxed children 6-11 years will have to do an in resort pcr or lateral flow on day 8 of the holiday, which will be valid for 72 hours.
Was so looking forward to this holiday and now it just feels like more things keep coming up 😢 I know I know, it a pandemic, what do I expect.
Children under 12 was exempt from testing but from March 1st vaxxed adults and children are exempt and now the unvaxxed kids aren't.

Sorry should have mentioned, from March 1st unvaxxed children have to do a pre departure pcr or lateral flow, a pcr on arrival to destination and now the day 8 pcr/lateral flow

Is it just those 3 tests, or do the kids also have to quarantine in between them?
Seems logical to me though. I imagine Cyprus, like the rest of the EU, is well underway with vaccinations for the 5-11 age group, so they’re tweaking their restrictions accordingly.

@EileenGC I believe it's only children from the grey category (so residents of Cyprus) that have to isolate, I would presume at home.
Uk are currently in the red category so that means all vaxxed adults can go without any tests it's just the children that have to do them. It comes in from the 1st of March.
I understand them tweaking it inline with the rest of Europe it's just abit stressful all these regulations, I just want a holiday lol
