Hoping that our first international trip since all of this began can happen at the end of next month. Am stressing about the entry reqs though - can anyone tell me whether this ticks all the (current) France boxes?

Thanks!

Yes, I have used the same test for travelling to France. However, if I were you I would wait until about a week from your travel dates to buy anything as the rules are likely to change before then and you may not even need to test at all if you are fully vaccinated.

Ahh thanks so much. It’s nice to think these days of testing might be in the past before too long. Thanks for the reassurance.

I'm looking for the covid sworn statement for entry into france in English but the French website only gives it to me in French. Has anyone found one that's in English please?!

katieroo1 · 08/02/2022 11:55

Not to worry just found it!

CaMePlaitPas · 08/02/2022 11:57

They are set to change the rules again imminently, I saw on the news this morning. Just hold out another week before doing anything if you can!

Parpophone · 08/02/2022 13:31

As @CaMePlaitPas says, there is likely to be an announcement before too long (the article I saw this morning says "within a week") about scrapping the need for a negative test to enter France.

We have just had to make an emergency visit to the UK and whilst it was all straightforward re tests etc, there was a lot to remember.

Doesn't seem possible that a return to "normal" travelling is in sight! Grin

We go on Saturday so we may still fall in the 'need to get a negative test' category. Being very careful with mask permanently on, windows permanently open and coat permanently on indoors!

Following this- I'm taking my daughter to Paris for the day on the 22nd, hopefully it will be gone by then 😊

KnobJockey · 16/02/2022 08:24

Just wondered if anyone had seen/ heard an update to this? I had a look and couldn't see anything, but really should order some tests today so that we have them for Monday if needed

usernotfound0000 · 16/02/2022 08:28

@KnobJockey no need for a negative test now as of 12th feb.

@usernotfound0000 thank you so much! No idea how that didn't come up on my searches 🤷‍♀️
