Not really a holiday but we are desperate to go and visit DH family in Queensland as we haven't seen them in 3 years. We lost mil in the first lockdown and it's been really hard on FIL not being able to see his other son and family over there.
But... we have a 9 year old unvaccinated child. I read what looked like the Q's website and it said that unvaccinated minors had to quarantine for 14 days. We are disappointed as that just doesn't work for us, we can only go for 3 weeks anyway.
Then googled a bit more and found an Australian official looking website that said minors were exempt.
We hope to go over for Xmas.
Does anyone know what the rules are or the best most reliable place to look for them?
Hoping things change in the next few months but at the moment we can't see any sign of the UK jabbing 6-11's and I can't imagine that we will be able to get them for DS for travel purposes.
If we don't go this years it's going to be 4 years apart, we are just gutted.
