Greece with teens

We're hoping to go on our first holiday abroad for 4 years, and we've promised our teens (13 and 16) somewhere with a pool, probably all inclusive as they've never had that kind of holiday, ds1 will have finished GCSEs and probably won't holiday with us for much longer. Greece seems to be getting the family vote.

It gives me the horrors a bit - we've done lots of UK holidays, camping in France is about as exotic as we've managed.

So, any great recommendations - somewhere within walking / bus distance to the beach (don't want to hire a car) local town or village, ideally a bit of culture but with all the resort stuff that the dcs want.

A big ask I know but we really have no idea where to start and don't want to end up in a concrete resort fighting for sun beds and eating chips for tea every night!

Neilson Beachclubs - eg Vounaki, there are other clubs in Greece too.
Also their Club Alana in Croatia…it has everything

@Fivemoreminutes1

Grecotel Marine Palace
This place looks amazing. I just put all our info in for when we want to go away and the holiday was £14k for our family of five 😭.

@Gabbiadini Wow! I looked yesterday at prices for my family of 4 for a week in mid August and it was around the £3.5k. Just checked and it’s the same.

Domes Of Elounda in Crete is lovely. We got some sort of deal though where it was cheaper so I'm not sure what the usual price would be.

I did 14 nights and also did put two rooms in as we have three teens so can’t all squeeze into one.

The Grecotel does look lovely - came in at £4.5k for us (2 adults and 2 teens) which is a bit more than we were hoping. Am I being unrealistic thinking we'd get anything nice for less? £3.5k sounds better @Fivemoreminutes1 but are your children younger?

Lindos in Rhodes is amazing. The hotels at the top of the hill have pools. It’s a 10min walk down to the beach plus loads of restaurants, bars & shops in the town. Also has an acropolis. We went last summer for 2 weeks & it was amazing. Got the local bus into Rhodes Old Town to explore one afternoon, also went to a water park another day on the free bus. I don’t think there are any all-inclusive in Lindos itself but you don’t need one as there are so many restaurants in the town & on the beach for lunch & drinks.
