Hotels in Chang Mai

We're hopefully off to Thailand later in the year and I'd love some hotel recommendations in Chang Mai. We have two teenagers so would like a pool and somewhere with charm centrally located.

I can highly recommend the Pingviman Hotel. It's in the old town of Chiang Mai and in a fantastic location.

Pick up a copy of lonely planet, it's been a good few years from my last visit but we just used the guide, we also found guest house or b&b really great value for money. Guess it depends what sort of holiday you are after
