Fast Track Passport Turnaround Time

Has anyone used the 1 week Fast Track Passport service recently? How long did it take between your appointment and you receiving the new passport?

Also, any advice for someone going to their appointment tomorrow and due to fly on 30th January?

Hi, my DP used Fast Track very recently. Appointment 9am Friday at Passport office in Victoria, passport received the following Tuesday - so super quick and worth the extra money when you hear of many people waiting weeks and weeks as the alternative!

I needed to renew my passport, didn't use fast track, just standard service, and from applying on line and posting my old one, it was under a week for my new passport to arrive. Flabbergasted.
