Best time to book flights

We have booked a villa for August 2022, the best flight option is unfortunately with Ryanair. Does anyone know when to book to get the best price? I've been keeping an eye on them and they seemed to go up before Christmas and are lower right now, but are they likely to drop further? Anyone in the know?! Thanks!

I'd say book now. Flight prices seem to be going up now there's a bit more certainty around foreign travel.

Which route? If popular summer destination, book now. If not so popular, keep monitoring prices and they’re likely to take a dip closer to the time.

Thanks, it's to a Greek island. Not sure how popular the route is, I would imagine most people would go there as a package though. I don't think I have the nerve to wait until much nearer, I think I'll probably just get them booked.
