Right Christmas is over - where can we go for a long weekend in Feb? With a 2 year old?

Already done cerntre parcs and cornwall this year, so where else not too far away from Wiltshire? We're thinking about 2 hour max away.

Anywhere, your 2 year old wont care where you go. Think of yourself first. What kind of a budget are you on and what are you looking for in a break?

PanicPressiePants · 26/12/2007 16:30

Budget not really an issue, but certainly not wanting to spend more than a weekend at centre parcs Just somewhere different.

Have you ever been to Moonfleet Manor hotel near Weymouth? Fab child-friendliness and lots to see/do in the area.

Sandy Balls in the New Forest. We went in October and loved it, we're going back in January.

PanicPressiePants · 26/12/2007 22:25

Oooh whats at Sandy Balls? (I can't even begin to tell you the images in my head ) Is it a place?

And apart from Weymouth itself, what else is there to do in the are wessexgirl?

Sandy Balls is like a very small and friendly centerparcs. It is near Fordingbridge. You can stay in wooden lodges or caravans. Although they didn't seem to have any organised entertainment outside of school holidays, they do have on site an indoor swimming pool, pub, bistro, beauticians, bike hire, toddler soft play area, spar shop. They have a website so have a look.

Thank you car25 - I will do
