BEST place for October half term sun

Hello, could I have recommendations for locations for October half term sun please? Open to ideas, I had only got as far as Canaries (resort recommendations welcome, we haven’t been so don’t know anywhere) but then had a sudden thought about wanting to try Croatia. Anywhere else we should consider? Active/sporty family of 4, kids will be 10 and 11.

Hi, Cyprus is usually still warm at the end of October as well, another option in addition to Canaries. If you want the Canaries I like Lanzarote or Tenerife. For all inclusive I have stayed at Sandos Papagayo in Playa Blanca a few times, it's a good 4 star.

Can second Playa Blanca in Lanzarote... sun bathing in the day but needed a cardi at night. Just perfect for me as I love the sun but hate being hot a night!

I would have thought places like Croatia/Mainland Spain/Turkey/Portugal are all going to be quite hit or miss at that time of year.

We've been to Tenerife about 7 times for the October break and generally the weather is about right as we like it around 25 degrees, although you get the odd cloudy day. Costa Adeje is a nice resort.

The south of Gran Canaria seems to often be the hottest of the Canaries at that time of the year, due to its microclimate. Lovely 25 degrees upwards with a real-feel of 30 degrees this past October!

We have booked Jordan for October half term and expecting temp's around 24-28

We've been to the Canaries in Oct, Nov and Dec and have always had nice weather. Not hot, early 20s. We've also been to Turkey in half term, lovely during the day, turning cooler/cold by 7pm. Nielson are great active holidays with kids.
