Woburn or longleat centre parcs?

Has anyone been to longleat within the past couple of years and can compare it to Woburn? I've been to Woburn recently but considering longleat for our next trip. Is it 'tired'? Is it too hilly for someone me who is crap at cycling up hills? Although I've heard if you pick your lodge carefully you can go for a less hilly zone?

Thanks in advance

Don't respond now as I've just booked longleat on a whim and don't want to be put off Grin

Longleat isn't hilly. Good choice!

We're off to Longleat this year and have been before tbh it depends on where your villa is as it's quite spaced out, we usually opt for walking or the train , plenty of stops and frequent too, always seem to be at the far end but way too steep to cycle.
Previously have been when dd was small we cycled then but we were fairly close and same level as the centre.

Thank you both. We've booked a little north of the swimming area and someone I'm going with thinks that's a flattish bit. Looking forward to it!

It was hilly when we stayed 😂 we used the land train, but I am going back some years, not sure if the land train still operates. DH broke the chain of his hired bike & trailer trying to cycle up hill!

God yes, Longleat is very hilly! There’s a really steep valley between the (roughly) north and south sections. The land train still operates, it’s lots of fun Blush. But your friend is right, sounds like you’re staying in the flat bit north and north-west of the swimming pool.

Excellent Smile. Thank you!
