Hello everyone. On a miserable January morning, I am hoping that we might be able to go on holiday in July, Covid etc permitting, and would really appreciate some advice.
A few years ago we did a week with Sunsail and loved it (me, DH, 2 boys (then 11 and 13), and this year we are thinking about doing the same in Greece. I think we'd like to have a one week flotilla based in Lefkas, and then have another week in a hotel/b&b either in Lefkas or Kefalonia.
We don't know Greece at all, and would really appreciate some advice. Has anyone got any thoughts about whether we should stay on Lefkas (which we won't see much of while on the boat) or head over to Kefalonia. Also, any suggestions about accommodation/locations on either island would be wonderful. We have a mid-range budget - I don't want a big hotel, but a place with character and a pool would be nice. Self catering would be an option.
A few year's ago someone on Mumsnet recommended a lovely hotel in Florida (the Sandpearl in Clearwater) and we had an amazing time there. Hoping for similar results! Thanks in advance.
