Formula 1 break

I'm hoping someone here can help / advise me with regards to booking a European holiday that includes tickets to formula 1🤞

I’ve not done this but have looked into it a bit, I think Belgium looked like the cheapest and easiest. I would just go on the official f1 site to find out how to book tickets and then book the rest of the trip around that but I’m fairly sure there are also specialist travel agents who deal with all sorts of sports and event related trips if you want that.

We went to the Catalunya circuit in 2018, booked via Suitours. It was a pretty basic package (reflected in the price) but perfectly adequate.
I probably wouldn't go to this one again as I find the circuit a bit boring.

It's a million years since I went, (ok, 17!), and I can't remember who I booked with but I went to Spa and it was amazing.

Thanks all, just me and me DS so would like to a package deal if poss with transfers to the circuit etc. Was thinking of the Hungarian one

We went to Monaco a few years ago but was with Thomas cook who no longer around. When I was looking into it there were lots of places that book it as a package deal so worth having a Google and comparing what’s on offer.

@annabannan
We did the Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest a couple of years ago. We didn’t book it as a package. We went out a few days before the weekend and had a lovely couple of days exploring Budapest. I had bought the F1 tickets from the circuit’s website, and it included bus transfers from a station in the city centre, so it was really easy to get to and from the circuit.

@SuperheroBirds can you remember where the bus picked up from the city centre, just looking at possible accommodation.

I couldn’t remember, so I’ve just googled it and it looks like they might have stopped doing the free bus from the city centre and replaced it with shuttles from the stations nearest the track

I’d recommend the Italian Grand Prix in September - you can stay in Milan and then get a train to Monza which takes around 30 mins
