I've been. We didn't go and watch the panto or skate (things you have to pay for) but we just wandered round the craft stalls, had a pork roll and a cup of tea in the heated outdoor bit (environmentally bad, but nice and warm) and then went for a long walk round the grounds. I like Sandringham anyway, just for a walk and a look at all the carvings in the trees/fallen branches. There were huskies there and a few people having rides on their sleigh which looked like fun. Lots of festive music, a mobile bar and even a fake snow machine.

Most of it's free unless you want the panto or to skate, Sandringham's lovely anyway and there were lots and lots of children there dancing and playing with the fake snow.

I enjoyed it. There's even a doughnut van.

Thanks SOH - we like it too - but usually in the summer! Wondered if it was worth a visit and it sounds quite nice for an hour or two. The fake snow sounds cool! Was it very busy? Always put off by these "extravaganzas" in case they are heaving!
