Travelling to Spain with children over 12

What are the current restrictions to travel to Spain from the UK? I understand that anyone over 12 needs to be fully vaccinated? is this correct? so are Spanish borders closed to UK children as many just have one vaccine, teenager daughter only got her first one in December so next one will be in March, as it is 90 days I think.

We were thinking February half term.

Thank you

If you're going as a tourist over 12s need to have had 2 vaccines

Was she not able to get it till December? My young teen got his in December.
Is there no alternative to the double vax, like doing pcrs? For feb half term I'd worry rules may change again before then

It's 12 weeks between doses for under 18s I think.
Spain don't have an option to test instead

There's no alternative. They have to be double vaxed. I'd either wait until she's double vaxed or go somewhere else.

Thanks. Spain is out of the list then. She could have got vaccinated earlier when the school did it but DD2 was sick with fever and I was worried it was COVID and DD1 will catch it.

What other countries in Europe have easier rules for over 12? We were thinking of going skiing but could also be a short city holiday.
