Europe Sun Holiday Suggestions

I'm looking for suggestions for a pretty little village or town for a 2 week sun holiday (preferably in Europe and near a beach). I'm thinking along the lines of Amalfi / Capri/ Hvar/ Dubrovnik. Somewhere that has a bit of atmosphere but isn't too crazy.

All suggestions welcome.

We really like Sicily. We liked the beaches in the nature reserve near Noto, but I would stay in Not for the restaurants/atmosphere.

If you do decide to go there, Marzamemi is well worth a day trip for it's very pretty sea front restaurants. And you can't go to that area without a visit to Ragusa.

I’d also look at Sardinia, the beaches are incredible. Over two weeks you could stay in a couple of different places but Alghero sounds like it would fit your criteria.
