Long haul winter sun with energetic young kids

Hello,

I am dreaming of two weeks in the sun somewhere next October/November, DH and I and our two very energetic boys who will be 10 and 6.

We have done various Tui type AI holiday villages with them, and we like the kids clubs and the AI element but less keen on the rep style atmosphere and fighting for a sun bed by the pool.

Ideally I would love - a beautiful beach with gently shelving warm sea ideal for the kids
Quiet but enough other children there that making friends is a possibility
Low key kids clubs
AI maybe but also open to other board options, would like to be able to eat outside the hotel occasionally
Potentially possible car hire and day trips out and about but not a must

We have a healthy budget of up to 18k for this but don’t know where to start, I’ve really only ever booked family holidays via companies like Tui before, what are good companies to look at?
Thinking perhaps Mauritius, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand?

Maldives will be too quite for them I think.. Mauritius would be good, we did a family holiday there with smilar.aged boys and it worked out really well. You want a hotel where they have pool staff controlling sunbed allocation.

Lux south Mauritius would fit the bill

Yes we were at Lux Belle Mare.

I've normally used British airways holidays or virgin holidays for these types of holidays or booked with hotel direct.
