A few days in Cork (June)

We are going to be in Cork for a few days in June - me, DH and 2 DS (9, 3). We’d like to stay in a hotel with a pool, ideally somewhere walkable. There seem to be quite a few hotels with pools but wondered if anyone had a recommendation for one that was particularly good for kids?
Would also love any other kid-friendly recommendations (activities, restaurants). Thanks!!

Either the Clayton or Maldron Shandon hotels.
Fota Wildlife Park is a lovely day out with kids and is easy to get to from the city as it has its own train station.
The playground in Fitzgerald’s Park is awesome.
The best restaurants with kids would be Scoozi, Luigi Malones and Son of a Bun.
