Hi everyone,

Best friend and I (both 41) are planning to get away together for a long weekend next June (not school hols). We would like somewhere that is:

Reasonably hot
No more than 2 hrs flight from LGW
Short transfer (less than an hour)
Beach with sunbeds available.
Preferably sandy.
Nice traditional town/village with traditional restaurants. Somewhere with a bit of character that isnt just purpose built. We are both fans of whitewashed walls and cobbles Smile
Dancing in cheesy bar a bonus for if we can muster the energy.
If all walkable that would be perfect.

Doesnt have to be fancy or expensive.

Does this place exist?

I was thinking perhaps albufeira or nerja. Any ideas?

Thanks.

(Port) Alcudia for the long beach.
Walk (20 mins) to the old town Alcudia for the history , little shops, and squares with bars.

That’s Majorca/Mallorca

Also, Cascais.
