Airport security and toddler food

Hi there,
We're travelling with our 18 month old and would like to take some pouches through (Ella's kitchen and the more solid stuff that you get in the round containers) and are unsure if security will allow this.
Have so far found advice on one website saying bringing food for children under 2 is OK if they're in this form but it's not exactly definitive.
Does anyone have any recent experience on this?
Please note that he's not a baby so it's not baby milk/baby food but he is also under 2. If that makes any difference at all!
Many thanks for any advice received:)

When travelling with my little girl I do an order click & collect to the boots in the airport and pick up and take through and it's always been fine that way. Is that possible at the airport you're going to?

Hi Daisy, I have no idea to be honest. I'll have to check and see, thanks for the suggestion
