Mexico for unvaccinated

Can anyone confirm if you can travel to Mexico from the UK if you are unvaccinated? Obviously will need tests.

I've been going round in circles on Google and can only find information about travelling to Mexico from the US>

Doesn't sound like you need to test or prove anything to go there. You need to test coming back into the UK

Actually if unvaccinated you will need to isolate for 10 days when you return to the UK and take 2 PCR tests - day 2 and day 8.

Also need to take a test in Mexico before travelling home

This from the Foreign Office Travel advisory gives more information on Mexico:-

Traveldoc is a great website to check requirements. You input your journey details and it lists all the requirements.

Hi, I'm in Mexico. As things stand right now there is no general requirement for COVID-19 vaccination or even for COVID-19 testing before (or after) you arrive internationally. That rule has been largely consistent since the pandemic started, so I don't really see it changing - but it always can.

You do need to register on the Mexican government site and fill out the "Health Questionnaire" form: www.vuelaseguro.com/login to enter Mexico -- I think you can fill the form manually on arrival, but to avoid delays and surprises I'd advise doing it at least 12 hours but no more than 48 hours before your flight departure and making sure you're emailed a "green" QR code before you travel. If you register for the site (just need an email and password) you can access all the official Mexican government advice - see the FAQ first - and then fill out the form when you're ready.

Returning to the UK you'll need whatever tests are required (PCR now, I think?) and to follow whatever rules they have when you return. Mexico was on the UK red list for a long time, I would not be shocked if it goes back on at some point.

I'm in Mexico atm. We did a PCR before we came but didn't need it. Had our COVID pass all ready but didn't need it!! Nothing was checked at all to get here.

You don't need a test before flying home but we do now need to take the day 2 test when back in the UK on Sunday morning xx

Sorry should have said that we did have to complete the Health Questionnaire as the PP said x
