Day 2 lateral flow - arrival date important?

Hello everyone!

I need to order a day 2 test for an upcoming holiday and the company I want to order from (Project Screen) is asking me for my arrival date. I want to put one earlier than my true date, so it gets here before I leave and I know it's waiting for me and I'm not worrying about it getting lost and the faff of notifying them I never got it.

Is there a way in which this could be a problem and make it invalid? I'm assuming not, because people get delayed all the time, and I imagine it's pretty common for dates to get changed and you don't need to commit to a certain arrival date, but just a bit paranoid!

It should not be an issue anyway. You just need to have it booked in any event with a reference for your Passenger locator form.

@AttilaTheMeerkat what I mean is, I'll be ordering it today, putting tomorrow as my arrival day, but won't actually be arriving until late next week. I just want to have it before I go and not risk a package sitting outside my door for days making it clear I'm not here (or being stolen).

So if for some reason the reference code is only valid up to the arrival date, it wouldn't work for me. It seems unlikely this would be the case - I think they're just trying to stagger deliveries - but wanted to be sure.

It doesn't matter. I took mine on holiday with me so that I could drop them off on the way home from the airport

Just came here to post the same thing! I booked mine giving the arrival date as the 28th but forgot to consider timezones and will actually be arriving on the 27th. Just received an email saying it has been dispatched so hopefully it will arrive in time since it said next day delivery.
