warm as in beach AND romance: caribbean (8hours)

warm as in beach AND party a bit: Miami beach (8hours)

Warm / no beach / just the 2 of you and the stars in a 5 star tent: moroccan desert or dubai desert. (4 and 6 hours)

just been to morocco, although I did take my 5 month old dd- alone!)

It was WONDERFUL.

Warm, friendly people, nice food, plently to do- and you can stay in a posh hotel if you like. Mine was 4 star.

Definitely Marrakech - very grown up - gorgeous restaurants (try Le Pavilion), stay in the most child unfriendly romantic luxury riad you can find! Marrakech in my view is only good for 2 or so days as it's not that big - if you are there longer try a day out or 2 nights after in the Atlas mountains nearby - Kasbah Tamadot - amazing!

Definitely Dubai!! went there for 4 nights before baby and was sooooo amazing. It really has everything. Pure luxury, beautiful hotels where you are treated like royalty, glorious beaches with lukewarm sea water, lots of sight seeing trips (desert sand bashing in 4 by 4 has to be sampled!) and amazing shopping if you are that way inclined. Its only 6 hours flight and only an hour time difference if I remember. If I ever had the luxury of a wknd without dc I would book there again in a flash.
