where would you go for romantic one night near London?

We would like to have just one night away from our dc and preferably outside London as we live in it. Anywhere within an hour or so drive would be good and not too expensive.

How about the Compleat Angler in Marlow? It's overlooking the river at the edge of the town, v. pretty spot. We go there for drinks and meals but have never stayed as only 10 mins from us.

Lots of lovely walks, and Marlow has v. nice shops, cafes, pubs etc. It takes us just under an hour to drive into west/central london.

That sounds like a good idea.
