New York hotel for family of 6?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a Manhattan hotel that would suit a family of 6? Maybe a 2 bedroom suite or an aparthotel set up? Might be a pipe dream but would welcome any hints/tips!
Thank you.

I’d recommend the youth hostel in Lower Manhattan if it still exists. Their private rooms were lovely and it’s so close to all the authentic diners / restaurants / bars that real new yorkers go to. Can’t remember the name

Hotel Wellington do a one bed suite that has three double beds if you don't mind bunking up. Really central location. Was on the Borat movie Grin

Embassy Suites are good for multiple rooms/connecting rooms. Never been to this one but been in other cities and always has been a good base with spacious rooms. www.hilton.com/en/hotels/nycmies-embassy-suites-new-york-manhattan-times-square/

We stayed at the Beacon, it has 2 bedroom suites that would sleep 6 and is in a great location on Upper West Side. www.beaconhotel.com/rooms/two-bedroom-suite/

We've stayed at the Radio City apartments a few times. Brilliantly central and all mod cons. They have a variety of room/ suite combinations.

Many years ago as a poor student backpacking around I stayed at the Banana Bungalow hostel in New York. It doesn’t exist anymore but the building is now Hotel Belleclaire and they do family suites for 6 people (2 rooms, 3 double beds in total). I liked the location. Even saw Julie Andrews in a bookstore nearby.
