Covid recovery letter

Has anyone tried getting hold of one of these or using it for under 16s travel in EU? We’re meant to be travelling to Austria in January and as both kids had Covid in September they can use this in lieu of a vax certificate. My problem is finding anyone in UK to do it!

I had been hoping it was just evidence of a positive PCR test in the last few months. Have never heard of a recovery letter and not sure who would provide it....

The UK don’t accept them but EU do. I’ve spoken to our health centre and they’re going to speak to the GP about doing one for the kids. I’ve found one online company that does them for £150 each which means the letters will cost more than the cost of taking the kids! Might just leave them at home with Grandma and have a nice adults trip instead
