Can anyone tell me what I shouldn't miss if I visit Lisbon for the day?

Have booked to visit Portugal in march 2008 and we want to get the train to Lisbon for the day - we will have a 9 year old and 15 year old with us.

The castle is lovely and has an unusual sculpture park in the grounds.

A ride on the tram that goes past the cathedral and through Graca. Sorry can't remember the number. The castle. Going up one of the elevadores, Santa Justa is right in the centre. The old expo sight has an aquarium I think

you must eat tartes de nata somewhere

agree the castle is just breathtaking, and lots of climbing to be done

I have been to Lisbon twice in the past year for work and I LOVE it, fab restaurants, fab shopping, lovely people, I am almost considering paying for myself to go again
But seriously I can't remember any of the hotels or restaurants as they were all organised by someone else iyswim. It is a really great place though, you will have a ball!
Top tip-Go to Carrefour(or any other supermarket) and buy some lovely Portuguese wine and olive oil for a fraction of the price that it is on sale for in the airport.

Oh thank you - I shall remember the castle, cathederal then and tartes de nata.

I am not going to the airport!! I am going by train - you can get all the info from man in seat 61.
