Cyprus in early May

What is the weather like in Cyprus. Would fly out on about 3rd May for 11 nights? Would it be warm enough to go in pool, sea etc. Looking at Paphos area.

If not, where else would have good weather that time of year that can go in sea and pool. Would need to be no more than 4/5 hours on plane

The sea will be cold. It's at its warmest late September/early October.

It's fabulous then, though the sea might be a bit chilly. When we went, people were still skiing in the Troodos in the morning then swimming in the sea in the afternoon. Everywhere is still quite green though it was 100% sunny and warm.
