DD is 18 and we fancy staying in Budapest. Any recommendations for where to stay?

I've stayed at the Corinthia and the service was fantastic, if you book a certain room then you get afternoon tea plus pre dinner canapés and drinks. It has a lovely spa too and is central.

I’d recommend either of these:

We stayed at the Hilton. It isn’t perhaps the most convenient but it’s a beautiful location near the castle. DD and I enjoyed the cocktails!

Gellert. Lovely spa, retro style and super cakes.

I am watching with interest, I followed Mumsnet hotel recommendations for Bangkok and had the most fabulous time and recommendations. ( Labua and Shangri-La La)

We stayed at the 7Seasons apartments which were very central. You can get breakfast.

We had 4 or 5 nights at the Continental Budapest a few years ago. Loved it.

Stayed at the Corinthia and it was lovely - great restaurant on site and the pool is gorgeous

We stayed at the ibis, absolutely great location.

We stayed at the Atrium Hotel. Not central but easy to get to the centre. The trams were a great service.
