Villa holiday Italy

Hi, am looking for recommendations or specific links please. Next summer I’d like a holiday in Italy (covid permitting!). Ideally a villa with private pool, within easy walking distance of some restaurant options. Just 3 of us (DD will be 11). We love San Sebastián in Spain and ideally looking for similar feel in Italy! Bonus if decent direct flights from Scotland and not too long a transfer! Any ideas? TIA!

I can’t help with villas, but we fly Scotland-Italy. In the past we’ve flown Edinburgh-Pisa for Tuscany and Edinburgh-Rome for Lazio area. Both fantastic spots to find a villa I would imagine. We drove up from Rome to Lake Bolsena, which we loved. The region has lots of gorgeous hill top villages. Pisa lands you close to the Tuscan coast, but us also a short drive into the heartlands, so to speak. Both were Ryanair.

Next year I’m looking at BA (we have vouchers!), Edinburgh-Florence. We’re booked on our favourite campsite near Florence. Can’t say enough good things about Florence, we love it!
