Forest Holidays - Best Location

Hi all,

Looking to book Forest holidays for myself and DP for 3 nights next April. Could i get your opinions on the best locations you have stayed in for things to do, nice restaurants, nice scenery etc.

I've not stayed at them all but always thought Argyll was stunning in terms of location.

I should have mentioned i'm looking for a location in England. Any recommendations of sites in England?
