Hey!

It is my mothers birthday coming up and we are off to the Caribbean for a week.

First time taking a baby on holiday; any tips? What to bring? What not to bring?

Thank you!!

Multiple short rompers (basically vests that look more like shorts) wear this over nappy and nothing else
Sun hats
A uv protective pop up tent thing
Clip on fan for the pram

Pram shader. Cream for prickly heat. Sun hat with neck cape. If you take swimclothes get the romper/body suits for more body coverage. Swim nappies.

Is baby bottle or breast fed? If bottle be sure to call the hotel ahead to check they have a microwave for sterilising bottles

At our usual airport you can order stuff at boots for pick up after security. I ordered nappies cos they were quite bulky and didn’t want to waste room in my case

A good baby mozzie spray
Thermometer/calpol, good basic medical supplies.
Something to suck on the flight, take off, landing, bottle, dummy, boob.
Change of clothes for them, a top maybe fir you too.
Plenty of nappies, wet wipes, sacks. They’re £££ on most Caribbean countries.

Maybe some towelling swim nappies
A good body cover up
Mozzie net for buggy and cot
