Is it still required?
My understanding is that now there's only one list, which is red. So if not from that short list then it's not required?

Yes it is still required. It's changing soon to some sort of lateral flow test which will be cheaper. It's later this month but I can't recall the date.

@Batshittery thank you, i've phrased the title wrong, I meant not upon arrival but BEFORE...
from what I've read a test upon arrival before day 2 is required for fully vaccinated ...
but just want to make sure I didn't miss anything from the rules

I think it depends on the country… the travel company we’re going with have the requirements for each country/area listed on their website.

Fit to fly may be required by the airline or country you're leaving.

Batshittery · 20/10/2021 17:53

Ah. I've been to Spain/Canaries and there were no other tests required. Just the one within 48 hours of arriving back in the UK

Batshittery · 20/10/2021 17:54

And my points relate to those fully vaccinated

Thanks all. I've just been going with backpack for the past couple of years, as pretty much always going everywhere with my now toddler.
I see now, and agree that it is rather classic/timeless piece than a trendy thing
