France- Lateral flows and PLF

Now we only need lateral flow tests is the PLF to come back to U.K. the same?
You previously needed to put a ref number for the PCR test. Is it the same? Also anyone know the cheapest providers now?

I've not been to France under the recent testing regimes, so can't help with the form, but in terms of the lateral flows, providers are being released from the 22nd I believe. I'm assuming it to be the same process of requiring the booking reference number for your form.

We fly on the 20th, will book LFTs while we're out there.

The current PLF hasn't even been updated since the changes on the 4th (no test required to enter the UK if double vaxxed).

It still asks you to confirm that you have had a negative test even though this is no longer a requirement.

We have just (Friday) travelled to the UK from France and the signs at the airport still say "have your proof of negative test ready to show".

So I wouldn't hold your breath about a new form being available.

Obviously the lack of changes to signs/forms is not helpful to the easily stressed!

Worth noting that we came straight through passport control and didn't have to show anything, just put our passports in the automatic gates.

We really need some info on this too! We're travelling to and from France next month via the Channel Tunnel and still not clear what we need! We're only going for 3 days!

Thank you.

The French Covid app is like track and trace? Do I need to upload a digital proof of vaccination. Currently I just have a paper version.

Thank you.

Not familiar with the NHS app, but TousAntiCovid has a trace function (Bluetooth, can be deselected) plus holds all your vaccination and test certificates plus FWIW gives quick access to daily figures, both at national, regional and departmental level…it’s quite a good app IMHO.

You can scan your second nhs vaccination into Tous anti covid and it will work (it’s much better than the NHS app as it will store the QR in the wallet/favourites and you will always be able to access). I confess I never turned on the tracking and you don’t have to I think.
