Looking for recommendations for 3 nighter abroad, just me and DP. No where too cold, beach or city.

Thought of Amsterdam but thinking weather similar to UK? Any ideas welcome

If you want different weather to the UK in February, go south. Spain, Italy, Nice perhaps. Avoid the northern parts of those countries unless you don’t mind wearing a raincoat every day just in case it rains!

I went to Barcelona one Feb half term and it was quite warm (maybe 14 degrees ish?) and sunny. Not full beach weather but you could walk around in a T shirt

We went to Amsterdam in Feb 2020 and it was really mild...bit of a risk though!
I would also go as far south as you can.

Seville, Malaga and Lisbon are lovely cities and more chance of blue skies at that time of year.

Rome might be an option, I had a quick check and average temperature meant to be 14 degrees. We went in October and it was pleasantly warm without being stifling and so much to see that it was helpful that it was not too hot to sight see.

Think I've narrowed it down to Marbella or Alicante..
Any preference?

Marbella is a bit more resort-like but both are on the coast, and amazing places to visit. Alicante has a lot to offer and you can take day trips to Elche, Gandía, Dènia, or even Valencia. Marbella is close to Málaga and other enchanting towns in the area. Which option has the best flights?

I’d personally do Alicante but then I’m from the Valencia area and nothing beats that home feeling for me Grin

Malaga over Marbella IMHO. Very quick to access the city from the airport and lots of nice hotels.

What about the Canaries for warmer weather ? I’ve been for 4 nights more than once.
