Almost 3 hours to speak to BA??!!

I’ve been trying to call BA to book a flight that cannot be booked online for various reasons.
Twice I’ve been cut off whilst waiting then my last attempt, I waited more than 1.5 hours to finally speak to someone who then said it will be at least another hour!!
Can anyone suggest the best/quietest time of day to call?

If you're on Twitter, I'd tweet them. I had a similar problem trying to get through to them about a voucher for cancelled flights in august but as soon as I tweeted them I got a response.
