Canaries at Christmas

Which canary island would you recommend for the best weather? Looking at Gran Canaria as furthest south.

Any hotel recommendations please?

Or any other suggestions for unvaccinated adults?

Awesome, if you can do it, go for it, Lanzarote is our favourite island, been there many times in December & Feb half term.

Gran Canaria , but hotel
Depends what ur budget is and what you like to do while u are there .( and who is going )

Quite a big budget as we were planning on Mauritius but can’t go now.

Lopesan Costa melanaeies
Big hotel , immaculate lots of pools , beautiful gardens
Sand dunes and fab beach about 5 mins walk
Lovely restaurants on prom along the sea
If you fancy clubbing playa de engles about a 6€ taxi away
Ps if you can fit me in ur suitcase I would be forever grateful

We went to Lanzarote in December and had a fab time, the weather was early twenties, warm enough to lie by the pool. We had one day where it was cloudier and showered but the rest were lovely. We stayed at the rubicon palace in playa Blanca which we really liked, so much so we are going back again.

Good weather, we last went in Dec 19, been visiting for 8 years before that, only stopped due to COVID. Early 20’ sometimes hotter, shorts and tee shirts, just need a hoodie, cardigan for nighttime. Canaries are great for winter sun. We usually stay in Puerto Del Carmen, and hire a villa with pool, great choice of restaurants etc, big Lidl, lots of Spar stores, shopping centres Biosphere and one in Playa Honda. Car hire is cheap, autoreisen is good, pick up & drop off at the airport. Always taxis outside airport to take you to resort if you don’t want to hire a car. Have a lovely holiday wherever you decide.
