Mainland Spain / Portugal in February

Would I be mad to consider mainland Spain or Portugal for February half term?

If it is sunny and 18 degrees plus with an indoor pool I think we would be ok, does anyone know if it is this mild at that time of the year or what are your experiences if you have been?

I know if we go canaries weather would be better but that is not an option.

Any views between Spain or Portugal?

We've been a few times. It's better than England that's for sure. You do different things, you can explore more, go for lovely walks. A heated indoor pool is a very good idea

I went to the Algarve in Feb half term a few years ago and it was very pleasant. Clear blue skies every day and sunny. It was no more than 20 degrees so I think we only swam in the indoor pool. However it was warm enough to have meals outside.

Thanks good to know it may not be such a disaster and indoor pool is a great idea.
