Day 2 Test

Hello! I didn't know whether to put this in travel or coronavirus but here we are. We don't live in the UK so have not had to give much thought to travel entry requirements but next week my DP has to travel abroad to a funeral and then instead of transiting straight home through London he'll stop there for a couple of days, so will need a day 2 test.

I'm completely lost as to how/where/how much etc, despite having a look at the overwhelmingly confusing amount of options on gov.uk. Does anyone have recommendations or advice? Thanks in advance.

I used Nationwide Pathology, recommended on here as being the cheapest (£40).
That was a couple of weeks ago.

Assuming he is double jabbed from a location the UK recognises?

Thanks @Chasingsquirrels. Yep his vaccinations are fine, we're British but offshore and our entry rules are different to the UK so we've not had to deal with them before!

Did the nationwide pathology ones fit through the postbox?

We need to book ours for coming back into England on 24th Oct

Yes, big jiffy bag.

Thanks

Am I right in thinking if I need 4 tests then we need to do a seperate order for each of them?

Chasingsquirrels · 07/10/2021 16:58

I only wanted 1 for myself, but yes I read it as each test needing to be a separate order.
