Travel antigen test - which testing provider?

Hi All,

We are travelling to Italy at the end of the month. We are required to take an antigen test or PCR test 48 hours before entering Italy. Thinking I’d prefer the antigen test.

Can you let me know who you’ve ordered yours with? Or who you’d recommend for antigen test? I’m going round in circles trying to decide who to book with!

Many thanks in advance Smile

We’re going to France at the weekend, and I’ve ordered an antigen test from www.c19testing.co.uk/ for my 13 yr old. £29, sent immediately, I feel confident in their service so far. I bought it after seeing lots of recommendations in here. Enjoy your trip!

We used dochq. There's a 30% off voucher so it comes to around £25. They were brilliant. Would definitely recommend.

Thank you both for your replies!

C19testing.co.uk always seems to come up when I search. I’ll take a look at dochq too 👍

You might want to check with the airline you are travelling with as some of them have specific testing companies that they require you to use.

Thank you all.

I’ve had a look at the airline (Ryanair) but can’t see that they’re stipulating who to use.

I’ve used chronomics before for £28 and they were good. The test was nasal only and really simple.

Chronomics failed to deliver our pre flight tests in time. We ended up with a last minute drive to the airport the day before for last minute swabs with another provider. Day 2 swabs also arrived late. Hundreds of similar Chronimics customers in a similar position in our flight, it was all over Twitter. Still awaiting the promised refund two months later but not holding out hope as their customer service is non existent.
DS used Screen4 who were fine.
