canada, camping,horseriding,white water rafting type holiday ideas please

Sadly not for me, friend, husband and two active boys aged 10 and 13, fly uk to Canada, an active holiday, camping or ranch maybe, anyone been? I don`t know much about Canada!

Try Lake Louisa/ Banff area. We have only been there for winter holidays but looked to be plenty to do for summer holidays too.

I would certainly recommend the Canadian Rockies. You could fly into Calgary, Alberta. There's certainly plenty to do and see round in that Province.

Alternatively, how about Colorado, USA. I live here and you can do everything here. White water rafting, horse riding, hiking and with the current exchange rate it'll probably be a lot cheaper.

The Lakes around Port Carling in Northern Ontario are so beautiful and they could go on a big kayaking trip - it isn't far from Toronto in North American terms (about 4 hours if I remember) Also Algonquin is true wilderness.

They could then have a day or two in Toronto on the way home?
