Short break in April

If you wanted to go abroad for a short break (4/5 days?) in early April next year, where would you go?

Pondering whether I worry about an Avios 2-4-1 voucher that is due to expire ... would have to fly out by 9th April.

Don't mind longish haul. Won't go to Dubai or similar. Don't want anywhere that is 'horrible' weather, although cold and dry is fine.

TIA for any suggestions to ponder.

What do you like doing on holiday?
On short trips of less than a week I always go back to places I’ve been before. Saves lots of time and I can go straight to the things I like ( pool or sea, food and wine, interesting building to look round).

Somewhere like Barcelona, Palma or Rome always has new bars or restaurants to explore. I’ve never been overly impressed with the weather in Southern Europe in April though.

'Seeing stuff' more our bag than sitting on a beach.

Yes, think I would probably rather go for weather that is colder and crisper, than disappointing weather that you hoped might be sunny because you're in Spain/Italy LOL.

I would do Poland. Have been to Krakow, Wroclaw and Gdansk and loved them all. Lots to see and easy to get around as none are massively spread out cities
