Can a 14 year old travel unaccompanied to France on Eurostar?

Just trying to work out if DS can go to visit someone this autumn, or whether it's all too nightmarish to organise!

I don't think they can get in at the moment, as presumably he's not had 2 doses of the vaccine. He'd need a compelling reason to enter the country if he's not travelling with a fully vaccinated person.

I've double checked and am correct, unless he has a "pressing need" to enter.

They can travel unaccompanied but have to be accompanied and checked in by an adult.
I work for an international summer school in Kent and we employ a checker-inner for the minors.
Obvs, Covid etc will mean different restrictions, but generally speaking, those are the rules.

@Geamhradh - yes they can usually - but not at the moment (unless double vaccinated in another country or have a compelling reason).
