Help with group booking for greek islands please!

12 of us from different families looking for a hotel / hotel village type set up that is beachside, close to a village/town for eating out and nice!
Does anyone have any suggestions? Dont mind which island it is! Thanks for any help.

One of my best family holidays was in Crete I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Sani Beach resort Halkadiki, not an island but mainland Greece, but very nice, various different accommodations, but as it’s a resort, it has many restaurants, kids club and entertainment on an evening and is beach side.

Definitely Sani, it's lovely.

I like Rhodes, ixia is near Rhodes town for eating in the evenings and not a crazy 18/30 type resort. Was very reasonable when I went, we booked b&b only and ate somewhere different each night

Sani looks good but out of our price range at £3000 for 2 of us for a week.
