BA flight cancellations

Hi everyone

Anyone cancelled their travel with BA recently in exchange for vouchers? I’m trying to work out if I will get 100% of the price paid for the flights or if they deduct tax or anything like that.

I need to change my flight but it’s easier and cheaper to cancel assuming that I get the 100% back but if they are going to add some secret charges in there I’m better to just modify.

Vouchers are for the full amount paid to BA. If you booked through a travel agent and they marked it up then you would need to contact the travel agent and see what they are withholding, if anything.

Can anyone tell me how quickly the vouchers come through please? Looks like I need to cancel our half term flights (destination no longer really viable) and try and rebook somewhere else....

Mine was in real time, but that was BA cancelling because of Covid. The voucher number was attached to the email cancelling the flight.
