I’m 29 and have never been abroad!

Would you think this is weird? I haven’t been on a plane either! I grew up in poverty with a single mother and since then have not been able to afford to go on holidays abroad! What do you think?

Not weird, as there must be many others in your position, but I hope you are able to take a foreign trip sometime.

Not weird - no - it sounds like you've never had the opportunity so completely understandable. Would you like to go abroad? It doesn't have to be that expensive and if you can afford a holiday in the UK (can you?), then you can probably afford one overseas.
