Anyone flew with Ryanair recently with hand luggage only, advice needed

I will be flying from Stansted with Ryanair with only hand luggage. Pre covid, I would check in online, print boarding pass and go straight through security.
With all the additional paperwork, do I now need to queue up at bag drop to show it before going through security?

We flew with Ryanair, with only hand luggage, in July/August and checked in online as usual. They checked all the forms while queuing at the boarding gate.

Great, thank you, I wasn't sure as we flew on package holiday in August and all forms were checked at bag drop.

All the Covid checks are carried out at the boarding gate if you only have hand luggage. I'm not sure where else they can do it otherwise. I presume this is the same for all other airlines.

In my recent return from Mallorca they give you a paper boarding slip to speed things up after confirming your antigen/PCR test and also the passenger locator confirmation.

I travelled last week with just hand luggage and they scanned my passport at the bag drop area.

Can anyone confirm that if you are travelling with only hand luggage, you should check in online & proceed straight to security once at the airport? I can’t find anything to the contrary on the Ryanair website.
