Help - paper covid certificate?!

Has anyone travelled abroad using the paper copy of the covid passport?

Due to a mid-lockdown move between England and Wales, I'm unable to access the digital covid pass. I go to Greece at the weekend and I've received a paper copy of my vaccine certificate with a barcode (not a qr code) at the top.

I've had a last minute panic that this won't be accepted and I have images of being escorted from the airport and sent back to London!! I've read that they need to scan a qr code in Greece. My letter only has a barcode at the top - help!!

Someone put my mind at ease please. Nothing much online 🙈🙈🙈

The QR code that they scan is on the PLF document, not your covid certificate. We had paper covid certificates, but no-one asked to see them - only the PLF.

Ah ideal - thank you! That is strange as the PLF only let me input vaccination status for the lead passenger. So they just don't ask / care about the vaccination status of the second traveller?! So odd!

My DH has recently returned from Spain. He used the paper Covid confirmation form and said it was much easier. People were struggling with the app and it was causing delays.

Yes. No problems at all.

In fact, people with paper documents were processed significantly faster than people using phones.
