SOS - Spain to UK return tests!! advice needed

We are due to return from Spain to the UK today. We booked lateral flow tests with Chronomics who were recommended by TUI - but the tests are not showing on my account and their customer service doesn't open till 10 (flight is at 13.30). Both our tests are negative, but with no way of getting the certificate and time being of the essence, I'm looking into options of booking alternative tests.
UK gov website says "If you are travelling to England from Spain, including the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands (Formentera, Ibiza, Mallorca, Menorca), you are advised to take a PCR type test before travel."

Does this mean they are likely to turn us away with negative lat flow tests? Has anyone flown to the UK from Spain or similar recently and can reassure me? Thanks in advance!

It's advice not mandatory .. A LFT is fine

An LFT is fine, I was only asked for it by the airline and the girl only quickly looked at it, saw Negative in bold and I doubt she checked what type of test it was.

Wasn’t asked if anything at border control, just passports as usual.

LFT fine. They changed it to make pcr advisory but I returned from Spain with just a LFT

Can you not pop to a pharmacy amd get new lft done?
We are flying home from Cyprus today and we had our return LFTs done at the pharmacy down the road

Returned 2nd September from Spain. Only needed lateral flows and no one actually checked we had negative results

We did chronimis tests to return on Saturday. You need to register the tests following the instructions in the packet - ours weren't automatically on the account I ordered from, I had to register the each on individually using the code on the paper in the packet and then the barcode on the test itself.
