Holiday to Tenerife

Hi everyone.
I’m new here, so forgive me for any lack of detail/etiquette in my post.
I’m looking to take my 2 year old son to Tenerife for a long weekend in September. I’m going as a lone parent and wanted something to make sure he is entertained.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good hotel with plenty of entertainment suitable for a my 2 year old son? This can be anything from kids clubs, good pool areas, access to local park areas and access to beaches.
My ideal location is Las America’s but only as I know the resort, happy to try other parts of South Tenerife to.

Hi totally up to you of course but Tenerife seems a long flight for a weekend break. Majorca or mainland Spain would still be warm in September and a shorter flight.

@rookiemere I know, if I can’t find something suitable in Tenerife I may opt for Majorca. I’m on a Tenerife quest at the moment as my flights are rolled over from March 2020. I may see if they’re transferable if I cannot source a good place in Tenerife in the next week though!

Ah gotcha. I am not sure that a 2 year old would be able to use kids clubs but Costa Adeje is a lovely area with some nice hotels. We went to the Iberostar Anthelia when DS was young and had a great time, the Hotel Isabel has nice looking pools or Costa Adeje Gran gets good reviews.

Agree with Costa Adeje
Kids clubs generally start at age 4 though there are some exceptions eg Roca Nivaria takes younger children, and quite a lot of places will allow younger children in if an adult stays with them (you don’t get the break but the child enjoys it!). Watch out as some kids clubs aren’t open on one or other weekend day though.
Somewhere with a good kids pool would be a good idea, there are lots which have fun sprinklers, pirate ships, slides etc
