Travel to amber country after having covid

Both my DC aged 17 and 14 have had covid this month. We are due to fly to an amber list country in half term at end of October. I am aware from gov website that for 90 days after having covid, tests can give false positive results so should not be taken unless symptoms are present. But we will all be required to test pre and post travel for the holiday. Does anyone know how to handle this? Can’t see much info online.

Currently self isolating here. Spoke to lady at test and trace today who said you can call them for some kind of certification if travelling during the 90 days post Covid.

Lateral flows unlikely to show up as positive. I was negative on LFTs within a few days.

PCR on day 2 when I returned was also negative- that was 30 days after my positive PCR.

@nicemarmot any idea who I need to call? This would be perfect

I think you’d need to call 119 @IHaventStoppedCravingYet.

Just found this about NHS Covid pass which you can get if you’ve recently had a positive result www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/covid-pass/
